Does my pet need to be vaccinated before coming to The Dog Ranch?
Yes. Dogs must have DAP, Rabies & Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccinations and they must be completed at least 10 days prior to boarding. A copy of your pet's vaccination record is required.

Beginning November 1, 2022, we will be requiring that incoming dogs to the kennel are pretreated with a Veterinarian recommended Flea and Tick prevention treatment (Nex Guard). This is just to prevent an outbreak as fleas have been on the rise, especially due to a warm fall. This is a precautionary measure in the best interest of you and your dogs, so that no one is sent home with fleas! The medication can be purchased at your veterinary clinic and does not require you to take your dog to the clinic for administration. Simply call your vet and order the correct dosage based on your pet’s weight, and you can give it to your dog at home! Please note that treatments must be updated monthly. If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask! We appreciate your understanding and cooperation!

Can I bring my pet's food with them?
Yes. We believe your pet will do far better when fed their own diet; it does not upset the stomach as much. Make sure to bring your pet's food in an airtight container. Please bring enough food for your pet's stay.

Can my pet have their own toys and bed in their room?
Yes. You may bring your pet's special items, i.e. toys, kennel crate. Please bring your own clean bed, blanket or cot as we do not supply these.

What if my pet is currently on medication?
We can administer anything your dog may require, i.e. insulin, ear drops, pills. There is no extra charges for special diet.

Will my dog be taken for a walk each day?
All dogs are walked three times a day.

My dog is not good around other dogs. What if I don't want my dog walked at the same time as other dogs?
If your pet is not social with other dogs, it's not a problem. We will walk your dog on its own.

How do I find out how our pet is doing while I am away?
You are always welcome to call and ask about how your dog is doing and check Facebook for pictures and videos.

"We feel like we're dropping our dogs off at a vacation resort. The way they get frequent walks and freedom to socialize makes it so you don't feel guilty leaving them behind on a trip." ~ Dexter
