About Us

The Dog Ranch is located on 28 acres of a park-like setting an hour west of Edmonton on Highway 16. We have many groomed trails, two large fenced play areas where your dog can either run off leash, in a pack, or walked on leash. We take everyone out three times a day for some serious fun and interaction!

Our dog motel is one of the finest you will find anywhere. All dogs have their own room with windows and individual outdoor runs where they can come and go 24/7 year round. There are two sizes of rooms, so if you have two or three big dogs, they can all stay together. The bonus here is that we have NO chain link indoors; all rooms have solid walls and ceilings are soundproofed. This creates a secure and quiet room for your pet. All rooms are heated and are also very cool on hot summer days.

A typical day starts at 7:30 am. Everyone is taken out for a walk or run. Then it's time for breakfast, maybe a little nap (for the dog) while we do cleaning chores, etc. Then at 1 pm, it's time for another run. Supper is served between 3-4 pm, then time for one more run around 4 pm. By the end of the day, most of the gang here are tired out and ready for some quiet time and a good night's sleep.
